{"id":34,"date":"2015-08-19T05:51:05","date_gmt":"2015-08-19T05:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/prodigalshome.in\/?p=34"},"modified":"2015-08-19T05:51:05","modified_gmt":"2015-08-19T05:51:05","slug":"short-stay-home-for-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prodigalshome.in\/?p=34","title":{"rendered":"Short Stay Home for Women"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>With the Chief Objective of \u201cMainstreaming of Women <a href=\"http:\/\/prodigalshome.in\/files\/2012\/07\/WSSH.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-551 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/prodigalshome.in\/files\/2012\/07\/WSSH-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>&amp; Child in Different Crisis\u201d, the only Short Stay Home for Women (SSH) in Nagaland is supported by the State Social Welfare Board, Government of Nagaland and Central Social Welfare Board, Government of India. It is the only SSH in Nagaland and is located at Fellowship Colony, Dimapur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The SSH is for those women and girls who are either exposed to moral danger or are victims of family discord, social ostracism and the resulting strain of relationship or emotional disturbances.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On admission to the centre they <em>(women &amp; child)<\/em> are identified as residents, reason being that the whole structure and movement of the centre is managed by themselves. The residents can stay at the centre for a maximum period of three years while encouraging constant contact with their family members and relatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Some major activities at the Home:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Residential Vocational Training<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Sponsoring residents for formal education<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Individual and Group Therapy<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Recreational activities<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the Chief Objective of \u201cMainstreaming of Women &amp; Child in Different Crisis\u201d, the only Short Stay Home for Women (SSH) in Nagaland is supported by the State Social Welfare Board, Government of Nagaland and Central Social Welfare Board, Government of India.
